Cultural Connections
In January 1999 the Center published Cultural Connections: Organizations Working with Culture and Heritage in the Northern Forest. This resource guide introduces some of the many organizations dedicated to recording, interpreting, fostering and using the rich heritage and culture of the Northern Forest. It contains contact information and descriptions of these groups, as well as profiles of selected projects. The Center published the guide to raise awareness of the role heritage can play in building a strong future for the region, and to increase communication and collaboration among cultural heritage practitioners in the Northern Forest.
