Tuesday, January 8
8:30am Welcome and preparation for the day
8:45am New Insights on Consumer Decision-Making: results of recent UVM research about wood heat, with time for discussion.
10:50am State Incentive Programs: Lessons and Developments. State agency representatives will discuss what they’ve learned, how they’ve adapted, and what’s on the horizon for incentivizing cordwood, pellet, and/or chip systems.
12:45pm The Tough Questions: facilitated small group discussions about persistent, difficult questions facing our sector
2:30pm Marketing Wood Heat: Feel Good Heat and other efforts to promote our sector are underway – see examples and learn about new campaign opportunities.
3:30pm What now? What have we learned about how we can make our sector more successful? Small group discussion and brief sharing.
