June 23 Webinar: Wood Market Retention and New Market Recruitment—Opportunities for New Hampshire, Vermont and New York
A new analysis assesses opportunities for growth in wood markets in New Hampshire, Vermont and New York.
The Center funded the study with resources from the U.S. Economic Development Administration and the U.S. Endowment for Forestry & Communities. The North East State Foresters Association analyzed current markets and recommended options for new wood market development in the three states.
The new series of reports complements similar information sets developed for Maine’s Forest Opportunity Roadmap and cover Timber Projections & Supply Chain; Regional Attributes, Weaknesses and Opportunities for Wood Market Maintenance and Growth; Forest Products Selection & Benchmarking; and Possible Forest Products Re-Development Real Estate Sites.
On June 23 from 12—1:30 p.m. ET, the Center will host a Zoom webinar and Q&A session with Charlie Levesque, primary author of the new reports. Attendance is free, but registration is required. Click here to register.
