After refreshing the town’s brand identity with new messaging and signs, Lancaster has launched a redesigned website and new videos that show what the town has to offer.

The Center began working with the town more than two years ago and used a process that included conversations with longtime residents, employers, and visitors to update the logo and create an overall brand to showcase Lancaster. The selectboard approved the new branding, which the Lancaster Community Marketing Committee officially adopted, setting up the new brand to become a part of Lancaster’s story and identity.

The goal is to tell the story of this community, its people, and the opportunities afforded here to attract new residents, businesses, and visitors to Lancaster. The brand does not replace the town’s official seal but has been incorporated into town materials, new town welcome signs and lamp post banners, t-shirts, and now the new town website.

In addition to helping redesign the website, the Center worked with a videographer to produce five videos that tell the story of life in Lancaster. Highlighting residents who have built their lives in Lancaster, these videos show all that the town has to offer as a tight-knit community hub.

The first video is a compilation of four stories that give a snapshot of life in Lancaster. Four additional videos showcase themes of local connection, business development, supporting families, and outdoor recreation.
