Adirondack Program Director

Cell: 518-637-2962

Leslie leads the Attracting New Residents initiative for the Center, including related projects in communities such as Tupper Lake, as well as the Center’s housing development initiatives in multiple Adirondack communities. Based in Saranac Lake, she draws on 20 years of experience advancing community-based conservation initiatives — and conservation-based community initiatives — in the Adirondacks.

Leslie’s previous experience includes environmental consulting projects in land use and energy and work with the Wildlife Conservation Society’s Adirondack Program. Leslie is a Kinship Conservation Fellow, a Susan Rappaport Knafel Traveling Fellow, and a graduate of Wellesley College.

Outside of work, Leslie serves her community in a variety of volunteer positions, stays busy with her two sons, and takes every opportunity to get out in the woods and waters of the Adirondacks on skis, by canoe, with running shoes and hiking boots, and on her bike.
