The Center and the Women’s Rural Entrepreneurial Network (WREN) are hosting a free networking event to bring together representatives from businesses linked to the outdoor economy in the North Country.

The April 9 event will offer an evening of learning and networking, with speakers from the Center, Bike the North Country, Get NEKedVT, the Small Business Administration, and Granite Outdoor Alliance. Speakers will discuss strategies for sustainable business futures for everyone who depends on the outdoor economy – including forest stewardship, outdoor recreation businesses, and hospitality businesses.

The event takes place from 4 – 7 pm on April 9 at the Rek’-Lis Pint House in Bethlehem, NH. Presentation topics will include:

  • The importance of forest stewardship
  • Marketing strategies
  • The importance of networking
  • Small business financing options
  • Why this work matters
