With a lifelong connection to the Adirondacks, Gwen considers herself fortunate to have now lived within the Blue Line full time for nearly a decade. She is deeply honored to be part of the Northern Forest Center and serve the people and places of the Northern Forest. In her role as the communications coordinator, she provides editorial support to the director of communications, program team and development team. Gwen brings to the Center more than a decade of journalism, communications and editing experience across the public, nonprofit and corporate sectors. She earned her undergraduate degree at SUNY Oswego and holds a Master of Arts in journalism from the Missouri School of Journalism.

Gwen lives in the northern Adirondacks with her husband and young son. She enjoys tending to her garden, attempting to quilt and exploring the region via waterways and hiking trails at an extremely leisurely pace.
