Bike Borderlands Debuts Video Series
The Center and its Bike Borderlands partners created a series of short films to celebrate the mountain biking opportunities and community life in nine Northern Forest towns. With the lifting of Covid 19 travel bans, these destinations are eager to welcome people looking for new riding adventures.
Bike Borderlands is a collaboration among nine independent organizations working to improve and promote trails for community benefit in northern New Hampshire and adjacent parts of Maine, Vermont, and Quebec. The Center facilitates the initiative.
More than 200 people attended a virtual film festival to see the videos debut. Businesses from each Borderlands community donated generously to a prize drawing for each location, raising raising more than $6,000 for future Borderlands activities.
“We are so grateful to the breweries, inns, bike shops and other local retailers who made it possible to offer a prize package for each location,” said Maura Adams, the Center’s director of community investment.
