Adirondack Program Manager

Cell: 518-210-7262

Adam first joined the Center in the summer of 2021 as an intern supporting the Attracting New Residents initiative in the Adirondacks.  Adam returned full-time in 2022 after completing his masters of regional planning at Cornell University and will continue working with communities to address the challenge of attracting new residents. He is excited to work closely with local leaders and residents to promote a future in which all people in the Northern Forest have access to vibrant communities.

After receiving his undergraduate degree in civil engineering from Clarkson University, Adam worked as a structural engineer for several years. In 2019 he left that position to hike the Appalachian Trail alongside his partner. Upon his return, he fulfilled his dream of living in the Adirondacks when he took the position of facilities coordinator at an Adirondack Great Camp turned artist residency.

Adam is happy to now call the beautiful Adirondack and Northern Forest region home and is proud that his work is helping others to call it home too. Like many residents of the Northern Forest, he enjoys hiking, skiing, canoeing, swatting black flies, and fixing up his recently purchased home with his wife and easily excited dog, Cedar.
