Program Manager

Cell: 207-357-3189

Amy believes in the power of authentic relationships and that “we are better together.” She brings this into action at the Center through her work in Western Maine, supporting community investment and destination development initiatives, including Maine West, The Mahoosuc Way, and the Gehring House redevelopment project. As a facilitator and program manager, she collaborates with organizational, business, and municipal partners in communities that are working to build a more equitable and vital future despite the ongoing challenges faced by rural regions.

Amy has been honing her skills as a facilitator since her time as a student at College of the Atlantic. She has more than 20 years’ experience working with nonprofits, including the College of the Atlantic and the Northern Forest Center once before. She also worked as an associate for Good Group Decisions, a consulting company serving nonprofit and corporate clients throughout Maine and the Northeast with facilitation and process management. She serves as secretary of the board of directors of the Natural Resources Council of Maine. As a resident of Greenwood, Maine, and mother of three, Amy is living and breathing the joys and limitations of working and raising a family in a rural place.
