Eliza Cope Nolan

Eliza Cope Nolan has practiced real estate law at Bernstein Shur in Portland, Maine since 1994, representing timberland owners and conservation organizations on transactions throughout the northern tier, renewable energy companies on solar and wind projects, and families managing multi-generational real estate ownerships.  A former project manager at the Trust for Public Land, a former board member of CEI Ventures, Inc., the City of Portland Development Corporation, Maine Audubon, and Portland Trails, and a current board member of Maine Coast Heritage Trust and its subsidiary, Conservation Limited Development, LLC, much of her professional and board work has involved land conservation or economic development – or efforts to make one stronger through the other.  Eliza holds a B.A. from Brown University and a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law.  The mother of three, she feels very fortunate to have had them all return to Maine.
