Rachel joins the Center from Washington D.C. as the new Development Coordinator to assist in database management and administration in support of the fundraising team. She works closely with the director of development, president, development officers, committees, and other staff and volunteers to help support the Center’s missions and values. Rachel brings years of administrative and grant management experience from her time in working in Disaster Recovery Response and Climate Security at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
Rachel received her undergraduate degree in International Environmental Policy and Economics from the College of William & Mary. She also has a Master’s degree in Public Service and Administration with a focus on Environmental Policy from Texas A&M University’s Bush School of Government and Public Service.
This is Rachel’s first time living in New England and although a little apprehensive about driving in the snow, she’s looking forward to all the outdoor activities the Northern Forest has to offer.
