In 2024, the Center’s Bike Borderlands team reached new audiences to spread the tenets of the Ride With Gratitude campaign throughout the region. During the year, we:

The Saratoga Shredders are proud to display the Ride With Gratitude attitude and logo.

A highlight of the year came from the Saratoga Shredders, a youth mountain biking program that is expanding to other New York communities.  (Congratulations, Shredders!) The group now prominently features the Ride With Gratitude logo on its new team merchandise.

“I am deeply grateful that Shredders MTB can partner with Ride With Gratitude,” said Anna Laloë, executive director of Shredders MTB. “Over the past couple of years, Ride With Gratitude has become an essential part of our Shredders culture, reinforcing our commitment to not only teach kids to ride well but also to be kind and respectful to the trails and their fellow trail users.”

Laloë explained that Shredders pauses its scheduled rides to participate in Shredders Trails Week for one week during every spring riding season to give back to the trail systems that the kids enjoy riding all year.

“Thank you for helping us embody the Ride with Gratitude ethos fully,” said  Laloë. “Working with Joe Fox and his team has been an absolute pleasure! In 2025, hundreds of Shredders’ kids across the State of New York will be wearing the Ride With Gratitude logo on their sleeves and we couldn’t be prouder!”

Beyond these efforts, the Bike Borderlands team is continuing its work to encourage more bike shops in the region to become part of their retail partnership program.

If you are affiliated with a retail shop interested in becoming a Ride With Gratitude partner, please email Joe Fox. Much more is in the works for 2025 and we look forward to sharing those stories periodically throughout the year.
