Members of the Maine West initiative are using a new regional mapping tool to help prioritize community conservation projects with strong ties to other important community interests.
The Center and regional partners are piloting a wayfinding project to improve the visitor experience, create regional connectivity, and continue to build public momentum and interest in the Katahdin region as a recreation destination.
When the Center works with a community, we make sure that any planning activities are strategic, specific, and will have a visible impact on the community.
