The Center-led Bike Borderlands mountain bike network collaborative is doubling from 8 to 16 member networks, including destinations in New York state for the first time.

The Center is making it easier for youth and residents of the Northern Forest to access outdoor activities by offering grants of $1,000 - $5,000 for a wide range of recreation programs and projects.

The Center’s Bike Borderlands team reached new audiences in 2024 to spread the tenets of the Ride With Gratitude campaign throughout the region.

The Center acquired a key half acre of land along the Androscoggin River to help the town of Gorham advance its plans to create a Community Trail Hub.
