A new analysis assesses growth opportunities in wood markets in New Hampshire, Vermont and New York.

The Center commissioned a new series of reports for the three states to complement similar information developed for Maine’s Forest Opportunity Roadmap. The reports cover Timber Projections & Supply Chain; Regional Attributes, Weaknesses and Opportunities for Wood Market Maintenance and Growth; Forest Products Selection & Benchmarking; and Possible Forest Products Re-Development Real Estate Sites.

The Center funded the study with resources from the U.S. Economic Development Administration and the U.S. Endowment for Forestry & Communities. The North East State Foresters Association analyzed current markets and recommended options for new wood market development in the three states.
