The Northern Forest Board Forum — which provides organizational development training to owners of forest products companies to help them advance their businesses — is accepting applications for membership.

The Center developed the Forum as a leadership peer advisory group, designed for CEO’s, business owners, or senior leadership of small to mid-sized private wood products companies located in the Northern Forest. Using a true forum rather than lectures, members contribute to solution-seeking discussions and are given the opportunity to learn from each other through shared experiences.

Topics are focused on CEO‐level issues including: the unique challenges and pressures CEOs face in running a growing business, strategic planning, managing people, succession planning, leadership development, customer and competitive pressures, new market opportunities, and leveraging financing for growth and investment. Forum members also share business successes within the group, where they find a mutual understanding of the hard work behind those accomplishments.
